July 26, 2016
Greetings Saint Ambrose Families!
I pray that your family is finding “cool” ways to beat the heat during these unbearably warm summer days! Thank you to all the families who celebrated our 10
Anniversary of SAS Summer Camp with us. We have traveled near and far, and tackled new and exciting adventures. Check us out on the website and share a moment with us as you “click” through our digital photo album. Short on time? Follow me on Twitter @mrscartersas! Mrs. Katie Troyner, our camp director and the summer camp staff did an excellent job of making sure our campers had a great time playing educational games on the
, perfecting their soccer and basketball skills, exercising in a fun, new way…”Cize” with Mr. Barton Conner, traveling to new places and making new friends. Sadly, all great things must come to an end. Camp ends Friday, 7/29 and I will be on vacation from Monday, August 1
– Tuesday, August 16
The office will be closed during the weeks of August 1st & 8th. The office will re-open on Wednesday, August 17th at 8:00 AM.
As the school year begins, please join me in welcoming the newest member of our family,
Mrs. Marie Carmen DeGalicia
, she is the newest edition to our Foreign Language Department. She will join Mrs. Castillo and teach our 4
Grade Spanish classes.
I am still interviewing for the Junior High Religion Teacher position.
We are saying goodbye (not really because she is still a parent) to Mrs. Khylah Settle who has taken a full time position in the public relations field. PreK will miss her, but Mrs. Heer and Mrs. Queen will continue to teach our smallest scholars. Please come by and meet Mrs. DeGalicia and our wonderful staff members at our annual Parent Information Night on August 24
Enjoy the next few weeks of summer J before school starts as you make memories with your family and friends!
