Oral History Project
We've been collecting stories from long-term parishioners about their memories of the Saint Ambrose community. See what they have to say!
Evelyn Cunningham: We started attending St Ambrose when it was still in the little mission chapel.
Sue Simpson: I remember when they started having the Las Vegas nights in the mid 1970s.
The power went out. The window wells of Fannon Hall flooded, and then the whole hall. It was a mess!
Have you been looking for a way to support children whose families have a difficult time financing a Catholic education for their children? Saint Ambrose is now dedicating the Poor Box collections from the first weekend of each month to scholarships. This is a fantastic way to support children who would like to attend Saint Ambrose School.
Saint Ambrose School
St. Ambrose School is a Roman Catholic School affiliated with the Archdiocese of Washington, DC. St. Ambrose School graduates are extremely well qualified for a rigorous high school education. Over 90% of our graduates are accepted into their top choice for private schools. Students also test into the selective Science and Technology programs in the Prince George’s County Public Schools at Eleanor Roosevelt and C.H. Flowers High Schools.
