Teenagers from San Agustin celebrating the Day of the Cross (May 3). It marks the beginning of the rainy season, the growth of plants, fruits, grains. The cross is usually made of wood, decorated with flowers, coloful tissue paper. Fruits, grains, vegetables are placed at the foot of the cross.
Jovenes de San Agustin celebran el Dia de la Cruz ( 3 de Mayo). Marca el comienzo de las cosechas y las lluvias. Generalmente la cruz esta hecha de madera y decorada con flores y papeles de colores. Se ponen frutas, granos, vegetales y flores al pie de la cruz.

Saint Ambrose is now dedicating the Poor Box collections from the first weekend of each month to scholarships. This is a fantastic way to support children who would like to attend Saint Ambrose School.
